Walter W. Gindhart, 85, of Paulsboro, passed away March 23, 2012. He is the beloved husband of the late Jean (nee Myers) Gindhart, loving father of Cheryl (Tim) Peck, devoted grandfather of Michael, Amy, Timmy, Justin, Kyle, and great grandfather of Dylan and Nathen.

Walter was a life member of the Paulsboro Volunteer Fire Co., Past Battalion Chief, Past President of the Paulsboro Volunteer Fire Assoc., and a member of the NJ State Exempt Fireman's Assoc. He was also one of the founding members of the Paulsboro Midget Football Assoc. His favorite past time activities included golfing, bowling and softball.

A viewing will be on Tuesday 6-8pm at the LANDOLFI FUNERAL HOME of Paulsboro, 300 W. Broad St., followed by services at 8pm. Interment will be private. In lieu of flowers the family suggests donations to be made to the Paulsboro Fire Co., 1502 Swedesboro Ave., Paulsboro NJ 08066.
