Thomas Wayne Massey, lovingly known as "T Mass" and Tommy, passed away peacefully at the age of 45 on September 4, 2024 in Orange Park, Florida, surrounded by his devoted family and friends.
Tommy, born on July 19, 1979 to his mother Paulette Salvatore Funk in Woodbury, New Jersey, was a remarkable individual with a passion for cooking. He had a knack for creating delectable dishes that delighted the taste buds. Tommy also had a deep love for motorcycles and, above all, cherished his family and friends dearly.
He always had a smile on his face and would give the shirt off his back for strangers.
Growing up in the Billingsport area of Paulsboro, New Jersey, Tommy embarked on a journey that led him across the country to pursue his dreams.
He graduated from Paulsboro High School and furthered his education.
Tommy's journey and desires to accomplish life long dreams took him across the country gathering education and training that brought his dreams to fruition. If there was ever a bump in the road Tommy made choices and rose above the obstacles because he knew others were there to support and depend on him. In his journey he never walked alone. "Ultimately the choices Tommy took were always going to be his way no matter what" even though his strength, determination and paternal instinct were always at his forefront.
