(nee DiMarco) of Gibbstown, NJ, passed away peacefully on February 17, 2023, age 96 yrs. Beloved wife of the late John V. Misero. Devoted mother of Joanne (Ralph) Skidmore. Loving grandmother of Rachel and Madeline. Predeceased by her brother Nazarine "Nippy" DiMarco (Gale) and sister and brother-in-law Annie and Frank Leone. Sylvia was born and raised in Gibbstown where she graduated from Paulsboro High School. She enjoyed a long career with A. Forte Neckwear. Sylvia enjoyed taking bus trips with both the Paulsboro and Gibbstown Senior Citizens Clubs as well as word puzzles, and listening to music, especially Elvis. Relatives and friends are invited to her viewing on Wednesday morning from 10am at St. Clare of Assisi Parish, St. Michael's Church, Memorial Ave, Gibbstown, NJ, where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11am.
