Susan L. Fean (nee Shaw), 69, of Gibbstown, passed away peacefully on November 6, 2023, at home, with her family by her side. She is the beloved wife of William E. Fean Jr., loving mother of Kimberly Corradetti, William E. Fean III, John R. (Danielle) Fean, grandmother of David W. Corradetti, Sarah Sherman, William E. Fean IV, Adelle and Sonny Fean, great grandmother of Vincent and Harvey Sherman and baby David Y. Corradetti. Also survived by her brother Robert Shaw, Jr. (Lorrie), sisters Dr. Claire Shaw (Michelle) and Nancy Merkh (Chuck). Predeceased by her parents Robert G. Sr.,and Claire Shaw (nee Campbell).
Sue was a life-long resident of Gibbstown and was a 1972 graduate of Paulsboro High School. She was a member of Clonmell United Methodist Church in Gibbstown where she served on Outreach, Finance as Treasurer; and most recently Trustee. She was Secretary and Past President of the Gibbstown PTA for several years; Den Mother to Cub Pack 132 and member of the Greenwich Township Historical Committee.  Susan was a secretary to the Principal at Logan Township Elementary School and Kingsway Middle School and also Athletic Secretary at Kingsway High School where she retired.
Family and friends are invited to her viewing, from 6:00 to 8:00PM, Monday, November 13, 2023 at the Clonmell United Methodist Church, 516 W. Broad St., Gibbstown. Burial will be held privately.
