Sophie E. Green (nee Holmes), 87, of Gibbstown, formerly of Hessian Ave., Woodbury, passed away July 26, 2010, at Shady Lane Nursing Home, with her family by her side. She is the wife of the late Richard W. Green, beloved mother of Peggy (Ray) Williams, Tom (Kathy) Green, both of Gibbstown, Barbara Magee of S. Carolina, Richard Jr., of Texas, 18 grandchildren, 25 great grandchildren, 4 great great grandchildren. Predeceased by daughter Anne Elizabeth.

Sophie enjoyed crocheting, being with her family and loved to give hugs and kisses especially to everyone at Shady Lane, where she was loved by all.

A viewing will be held on Thursday 9:30-11:00am at the Landolfi Funeral Home of Paulsboro, 300 W. Broad St., services immediately following at 11am. Interment Woodbury Memorial Park Cemetery.
