Salvatore Vasta, 88, life long resident of Gibbstown, passed away November 3, 2014. He is survived by the "love of his life" of 70 years, Grace (nee Barbagallo), devoted father of Leonardo (Shirley), Anne Vasta, Mary (Ronald) Clark, also survived by many grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Salvatore loved being with his family, was a very dedicated hard worker, after 30 years of service retired from the Chrysler Corporation, enjoyed gardening, watching boxing and wrestling.

A viewing will be on Friday 10-10:45am at the St. Clare of Assisi Parish (St. Michael's Church), 313 Memorial Ave., Gibbstown NJ, followed by a Mass of Christian burial at 11am.
