Ruth Sue Kelly (nee DeVoy), born on August 18, 1925 and passed away on this day of our Lord October 21, 2016 at the ripe old age of 91. Ruth passed away peacefully with her children at her side. She was predeceased by her husband Anthony Allen Kelly, her daughter Ruth Sue Kelly, her parents Vincent and Agnes DeVoy, her brother Vincent DeVoy, and her sister Maryann (Marie) Leslie.

Ruth is survived by her children, Christopher Kelly (Denise), Paul Kelly, Maureen Forsman (Ken), and Carol Forsman (Mark), grandchildren Alexis Kelly, Anthony Kelly (Nikki), Paul Kelly Jr. (Bethellen), Christopher Kelly II (Joyce), Lindberg Kelly, Mark Forsman Jr., Michael Covici (Tiffany), Amanda Mitchell (Nick), Taylor Kelly, Zebulyn Forsman (Brooke), Hans Forsman, Klaus Forsman, Allyn Torres (Jim), Katarina Forsman, Hagen Forsman, Daniel Kelly, Aaron Kelly, and 16 beautiful great grandchildren. As well as, her sister Helen Barber (Leon) and numerous nieces and nephews.

Ruth was born and raised in Gibbstown, she was a 1947 graduate of St. Agnes School of Nursing in Philadelphia, and a Naval Cadet Nurse during World War II. After the war she returned to Gibbstown to start a career at Underwood Memorial Hospital with Dr. Underwood. She left Underwood to start a family, and periodically worked at DuPont's. After the passing of her beloved husband, Ruth went back to nursing working for Dr. Carl Minniti Sr., until her retirement. Ruth had a general love of life but particularly enjoyed doing the crossword puzzle, watching tennis and golf, listening to the opera, theater, and the arts. She also enjoyed going to Long Beach Island with family, and trips to Philadelphia with her Gal Pals from St. Agnes. Later in life she enjoyed spending time with her large family, and last but not least, she loved her Crown Royal and Marlboro's.

A viewing will be on Wednesday 10-11am at the St. Clare of Assisi Parish (St. Michael's Church), 313 Memorial Ave., Gibbstown, followed by a Mass of Christian burial 11am. Interment Eglington Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Shady Lane Nursing Home, 254 County House Road., Clarksboro NJ 08020.
