Ruth J. Burke, 89, life long resident of Paulsboro passed away October 19, 2023. She is the daughter of the late Edward J. and Frances (nee Lipsett) Burke. She is survived by her brother Donald (Catherine) Burke and many nieces and nephews that she was like a second mother to. She is also survived by her sisters-in-law Theresa and Jane Burke. Predeceased by her siblings; Joseph Burke, Edward (Dorothy) Burke, Francis Burke, Richard (Joan) Burke, Alice (John) Nolte and Marie Chew McNeilly.

Ruth was an 1952 Paulsboro High School graduate who enjoyed the Paulsboro Wresting and Football teams. She loved her Phillies and Eagles. She was an avid bowler for many years. Retired from Crosby Jewelers in Woodbury and Heritages Dairy Store in Gibbstown.

Relative and friends are invited to her viewing on Tuesday, October 24, 2023 at the St. Clare of Assisi Parish (St. Michael's Church), 313 Memorial Avenue, Gibbstown, from 10:00-11:00Am, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11AM. Interment Eglington Cemetery, Clarksboro NJ.
