Robert "Bobby" Benner, 66, passed away peacefully on February 20, 2026, surrounded by his loving family. In his final moments, he was held close by his daughter, Tina, with his mother, Doris, and his niece, Stacy, also by his side — a reflection of the deep love that always surrounded him.

Bobby was a devoted father and a proud, loving grandfather. He is survived by his only daughter, Tina Tropea (Benner), and his cherished grandsons, Tyler and Jase, who were the light of his life and brought him immeasurable joy and pride. He is also survived by his beloved mother, Doris Godfrey; his brothers, David and Danny; his sister-in-law, Barbara; his nephew, Jesse, who held a special place in his heart; and many other nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, and uncles whom he loved dearly.

He was preceded in death by his sisters, Terry and Sandra, and his brother, Michael.

Bobby will be remembered for his unwavering love of family, his steady presence, and the lasting impact he had on all who knew him. The bond he shared with his daughter and grandsons was one he treasured deeply. Though our hearts are broken, we find comfort in knowing he was surrounded by love as he left this world.

He will be deeply missed, forever loved, and always remembered.

"I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith. Now there is in store for me the crown of righteousness."

— 2 Timothy 4:7–8
