Ray was proud of his home and loved to manicure his lawn. Christmas was his favorite holiday which was evident by the thousands of tiny white lights that adorned his home. He volunteered for just about anything including Logan Township politics, East Greenwich School Board, running the concession stands for his kids sports, Sons of Italy kitchen, as well as calling Bingo at St. John's. Although Ray lived in NJ, his heart never left Ohio. He was a die hard Ohio State Buckeye fan and organized many high school reunions.
