Placido J. Arena ("CEDAR"), 78, of Gibbstown, passed away January 25, 2010. He is the beloved husband of Irene (nee Valentino), dedicated father of John (Denise) and Mary A. Arena, loving grandfather of Fred Arena and Danielle Huesser. Predeceased by his son Fred C. and brother Carl Arena.

"CEDAR" as most knew him was a member of the Carmel S. Morina Sons of Italy, St. Michael's Mutual Club and the Raccoon Club in Swedesboro. After 25 years of service he retired from Martell Construction in Pennsgrove.
