Paul J. Walter, 85, of Gibbstown, passed away September 18, 2014. He is the beloved husband of Mary R. (nee Breen), devoted father of Paul (Trish), Thomas (Joanna), Eric (Cheryl), Matthew (Amybeth), loving grandfather of Brittany, Zachary, Timothy, Hayley, Jacob, Jason, great grandaughter Gabriella, brother of Anthony (Myrtle), George, Frank (Eleanor) and Eva Bundens. Predeceased by his siblings Joseph, John, Mary Searl, Thomas and Steven.

Paul was a 1946 graduate of Swedesboro High, for over 20 years he was a pipefitter for Mobil Oil, he was a Little League coach and umpire for Gibbstown, was an avid gardner and enjoyed attending daily Mass.

A viewing will be on Thursday 9-10:45am at the St. Clare of Assisi Parish (St. Michael's Church), 313 Memorial Ave., Gibbstown, followed by a Mass of Christian burial at 11:00am. Interment St. Joseph's Cemetery, Swedesboro.
