Nippy DiMarco

Passed away peacefully on September 15, 2018, surrounded by his loving family, in his Gibbstown home, age 93 yrs.  Survived by the love of his life Gale (nee Robinson).  Devoted father of Bonnie (Frank) DiStefano, Denise (Bruce) Mayer, Alfie (Brenda) Dick, and Roy Myers, II.  Dear brother of Sylvia Misero.  Blessed with numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Nippy proudly served his county in the U.S. Marine Corps during World War II.   He retired from the Gibbstown Board of Education as a Transportation Supervisor and was an active member of the Gibbstown VFW as well as St Michael's Mutual Club.  Nippy was an avid sports fan and enjoyed cheering on his favorite teams the NY Yankees, the Green Bay Packers and Notre Dame.  Relatives and friends are invited to his viewing on Thursday evening from 6 to 8PM and again on Friday morning from 9 to 10am at LANDOLFI FUNERAL HOME, 300 W. Broad St., Paulsboro, NJ.  A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:30am at St. Clare of Assisi Parish, St. Michael's Church, Memorial Ave, Gibbstown, NJ.  Interment with Military Honors will follow at Eglington Cemetery, Clarksboro, NJ.  In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Anthony Calista VFW, 743 W.
