Miriam "Buzzy" Wurtz (nee Rickert), 82, life long resident of Paulsboro, passed away October 7, 2020, at home, with her family by her side. She is the beloved wife of Frank Wurtz of 64 years, loving mother of Deborah (Samuel) Wurtz-Luzzo and Christoper (Bradley) Wurtz. She is also survived by 2 sisters and 1 brother.
She was born and raised in Paulsboro and was a Paulsboro High School graduate. Frank and Miriam were partners together operating the family business, Wurtz Automotive, where she did all the accounting and bookwork. She was a very talented woman, she created her own dolls and teddy bears and was creative in interior decorating.
Miriam was the first beauty queen in Paulsboro. She enjoyed many things in life: antique toys, dolls, Cape May, sunrise at the beach, classic car shows, auto racing, flea markets and country dancing. She will be missed by her family and by all those that knew her.
