It is with a heavy heart that we announce the passing of our wonderful & loving mother Mercedes Millan. She was battling cancer and other ailments, fought valiantly, and went peacefully. She was the beloved mother of Hereka (Angel) Martinez, Awilda Millan, Agnes (John) Tauscher, Steve Cruz, devoted grandmother of Erika, Marlon, Myra, Lauren, Allysa and loving great grandmother of Sela, Evan, Maria, Chase, Ashley,  Kenny Jr., and great great grandson Kyrian.  Predeceased by her husband Carlos Millan, Sr., and her son Carlos Jr.

She was the backbone of our family, and a true joy to know and love. She raised five wonderful children, and had numerous grandchildren & great grandchildren that she adored.

Mom was an amazing cook, loved playing dominos, watching Phillies baseball (and complaining when they lost) as well as her casinos and Spanish soap operas.

But, the most important parts of her life were her family.  We were so fortunate to have her so visible in our life. She was at every family function. She loved to travel with her children ,cruising being her favorite vacations. The Phillies were her favorite team she enjoyed the games whether in person or on t.v.

When The Lord called her name, she stood up and said her favorite phrase: "Lezzzz Go..."
