Mary T. Patane (nee Minniti), age 89, of Gibbstown passed away peacefully on January 27, 2024.

Born in Calabria, Italy, to the late John and Lucia Minniti, she moved to Paulsboro in 1947.  In 1957, Mary married the late Alfio Patane and moved to Gibbstown.

She graduated from Paulsboro High School Class of 1953.  Mary and Alfio were the owners of Patane Farm.

She was very active in her community.  Mary was a member of St. Michael Parish and an active member of the Carmel S. Morina Sons of Italy.  She was an Auxiliary Member of the Anthony T. Calista VFW Post 5579 and an active member of the Paulsboro and Gibbstown Seniors.

Mary loved to travel and cook (she made the best coffee).  She was a proud homemaker, but also worked alongside her husband on the Patane Farm.  She leaves us with broken hearts in her passing.

Mary was predeceased by her husband, Alfio; her son, Russell and her daughter, Grace.  She is survived by her loving daughter, Lucille (Richard Tighe) McDonnell; her sister, Pauline(Rudy) Tighe; niece Christine (Joe) Osinski; nephew, Rudy (Stacey) Tighe and their children Rudy and Rachel.  She will be missed by her faithful companion, her dog, Shelly.
