(nee Marinelli) Passed away peacefully, surrounded by her loving family on January 21, 2023 of Mickleton, NJ, age 97 yrs. Beloved wife of 76 years to the late Joseph. Devoted mother of Karen McGough, Joseph Manni (Loren), and Kevin Manni. Dear sister of Angelo Marinelli, Jr. (Doris), and the late Louis Marinelli, Erma Steffin, and Jerry Marinelli. Loving Mom-Mom of Kristin, William, Brandon, and Ryan. Great Mom-Mom of Cooper, Bennett, Owen, and Piper. Mary was raised in Gibbstown, NJ where she graduated from Paulsboro High School and Pierce Junior College. She was employed by Dupont as an Executive Secretary until she married. Mary was an active parishioner of St. Michael's Church where she belonged to several organizations. Additionally, Mary loved making homemade pasta for her family and anyone else who walked in the door. She proudly chaired the annual St. Michael's Spaghetti Dinner. She was also a Girl Scout leader for many years. In her leisure time, Mary enjoyed watching old westerns and soap operas as well as spending time with her family. Relatives and friends are invited to attend her viewing on Wednesday morning 10AM at St. Clare of Assisi Parish, St. Michael's Church, Memorial Ave., Gibbstown , NJ, where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 am. At the request of the family, all are kindly requested to wear a mask when greeting the family. Interment will follow at St. Joseph's Cemetery, Swedesboro, NJ.
