Mary Virginia Maclay's Obituary
Mary Virginia Fennell- Maclay was born on July 30th, 1937 in NYC' Yorkville section of Manhattan. Her spirit left her "earth suit" (an expression she often used to refer to the earthly body) and crossed over, on April 27th, 2022, surrounded by her family.
Mary most valued her faith in a loving higher power, her family, animals and helping others.
Mary's legacy of loving kindness will be remembered by her beloved children; Mary Fennell and her partner, Arlene; Thomas Fennell; Michael Fennell and Elizabeth McCool and her husband Jerry.
Mary's beloved Grand-children; Laura O'Sullivan and her husband Dan; Richard Taylor and his wife Maura; Steven Zurheide and his wife Lorraine; Michael Zurheide; Paul Zurheide and his wife Claire; Codi McCool, Shannon McCool, Kelly McCool, Michael Fennell, and Sean Fennell.
Mary's beloved Great-Grand Children; Kristin, Caileigh, Alyssa, Savannah, McGuire, Kellie, Charlie, Fallon, Lillie, Levi, Michael, Mollie, Arielle, Logan and Theodore.
Mary's beloved brother Joe McNerney and his wife Marylou; Nephews, Nieces, friends.
Mary has now joined with her dearly beloved grand-daughter Jennifer; Husband Theodore Maclay and Thomas Fennell; Parents; Michael and Elizabeth McNerney; Beloved Sister Betty Glennon and her husband PJ;
and beloved
friends. As, well as, her beloved dogs throughout the years; Mickey, Minnie, Daisy, Buddy, Zack and many more.
Although, Mary has lived in Clarksboro, NJ for the last 48yrs; she lived many years in Yorkville and Rockaway, NY.
We are welcoming family, friends and neighbors to join us in celebrating Mary Virginia Maclay's life at a memorial Service on June 18th, 2022, at Landolfi Funeral Home, located at 300 West Broad St. Paulsboro, NJ, from 11:15AM-12PM with a service immediately following. Interment Eglington Cemetery, Clarksboro NJ.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to your local animal shelter/rescue would be Mary's preference.
