Mary Ellen Leash (nee Hare), 77, of Gibbstown, passed away at home with her family by her side, after a long, courageous battle with cancer. She is the daughter of the late William and Carolyn, beloved mother of Deborah, Denton A. III (Jane), William J., Robert T. (Justine), loving grandmother of Bethellen, Taylor, Rebeca, Kathryn, great grandmother of McKenna, Paul III, Bradley, Gwenn Ellen, sister of Dorothy (Bruce) Earle and also survived by many special friends.
Mary Ellen took great pride in spending time with her family, and truly cherished her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She especially enjoyed the Holiday's spent with family and friends. She was an avid reader who loved a good book while at her Sea Isle beach house or wintering in Lake Wales, Florida.
A viewing will be on Monday 9:45-11am at the St. Clare of Assisi Parish (St. Michael's Church), 313 Memorial Ave., Gibbstown, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial 11am.
