Marie Delores "Mim" Morlachetta (nee Leto) age 91 years, of Gibbstown, passed away peacefully on April 13, 2026.

She was born on April 23, 1934 in Philadelphia Pa  to her late father and mother, Francesco and Amelia Leto.  She was predeceased by sisters Rose Cipriano, Angelina Crenco and Anna Grassia.

Marie was married to her high school sweetheart, her loving husband Paul Morlachetta Jr. on September 8, 1956.  They had three daughters Kathy Ann Boruch (Pete), Rene Ely (Thomas) and Andrea Campbell (Scott).

She is survived by her grandchildren Peter Boruch, Philip Boruch (Leah), Matthew Campbell (Maggie), Gabrielle Campbell (Anthony) and Nicole Campbell also great-grandchildren Michael and Mikayla Boruch and Kennedy and Nolan Campbell.  And many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Marie was a graduate of Paulsboro High School.  She was an active member of Saint Michaels Church and also a member of the Lady's Auxiliary which co-existed with the St. Michael's Mutual Club by preparing food  for many events at the club.

Marie loved people and people loved her; always helping others, family, friends, and even strangers.  It was uncanny how others were attracted to her. She could pull anyone into her circle and they would leave with a smile on their face.

Marie, a mother well loved, who made sure her girls didn't want for anything. She never missed a school function.  She was a homemaker following in the steps of her mother and many great women in her family that came before her.  She made delicious meals and always set another place and fed whomever may have walked through the door.

You would always hear her singing. It was amazing how she never seemed to drop a lyric. It was as if she knew the words to every song written. This wasn't her only musical talent as she also played a mean kazoo.

Her hobbies were varied. Besides music she loved going to the beach, playing cards, scrabble, swimming, reading, doing cryptogram, and bingo. She hit the jackpot when the casinos opened.  She and Paul had a standing date every Saturday night at her favorite casino, The Sands. Everyone knew them and treated them like royalty.

Marie lived a long and fruitful life and joins the love of her life, Paul, as well as family and friends that have long awaited her arrival. She may be gone from our presence but is now safe in God's arms.

Relatives and friends are invited to her viewing on Monday, April 20, 2026 from 9:45am to 11:15 am at St. Clare of Assisi Parish, St. Michael's Church, Memorial Avenue, Gibbstown, NJ where a mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 11:30am.  Interment will follow at St. Joseph's Cemetery, Swedesboro, NJ.
