Madeline M. Corradetti (nee DiGiovacchino), 83, of Gibbstown, passed away December 17, 2020. She is the wife of the late Anthony "Corky" Corradetti, with whom she was married for 58 years. Beloved mother of Christine (Harry) Whitelam, Anthony "AJ" Corradetti (Robyn), loving grandmother of Anthony A., Christopher, Jonathon, Alexis, Nicholas and devoted sister of Anthony "Digi" DiGiovacchino (Kathy). She is also survived by many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her brother Danny DiGiovacchino and sister Sandra DiPietro.
Madeline was the secretary to the Chief of Police in Gibbstown and retired after 25 years of service. She adored her grandchildren and loved spending time with them, with her children, and cooking Sunday dinner for the family. One of her favorite things to do was to go shopping, being with her best friends and going to the casino. She was a devoted member of St. Clare of Assisi Parish (St. Michael's Church).
PLEASE NOTE: THERE WILL NOT BE A PUBLIC VIEWING ON SATURDAY JUST A MASS of Christian burial will be celebrated at 11am, on Saturday, at the St. Clare of Assisi Parish, St. Michael's Church, 313 Memorial Ave., Gibbstown NJ. Entombment at Eglington Cemetery, Clarksboro NJ.
If desired, at the request of the family, in lieu of flowers, please send donations in Madeline's memory to the Guardian Angels School, 150 S. School St., Gibbstown NJ 08027. AS A GENTLE REMINDER: MASKS AND SOCIAL DISTANCING is required at all times while in the funeral home. Due to Government restrictions our capacity is 30 people, including family and staff.
