Louis "Boobie" Pozielli, 90, life time resident of Gibbstown, passed away January 20, 2016, at home, with his family by his side. He is the beloved husband of Albina "Babe" (nee Chipollini), devoted father of Christine (Frank) Spitale, Michael (Debbie), Steven (Beverly) Pozielli, Ann (the late Ron) Teague, Maria Sanclemente, Sheila (Edward) Toal, grandfather of 15, great grandfather of 7, brother of Adeline DiPaolo. Predeceased by son Louis Pozielli, Jr.

Louis attended Paulsboro H.S., was a Police Officer in Gibbstown for over 30 years, retiring as Chief of Police in 1983. He was a U.S. Navy Veteran, serving in the South Pacific, was a member of the Anthony T. Calista VFW, St. Michael's Mutual Club, PBA Local 122, S.J. Chiefs, Gloucester County Chiefs and N.J. Retired Police and Fireman's Assoc.
