Louis Leonardis, 86, of Gibbstown, passed away July 22, 2026. Beloved husband of 54 years with Lorraine Leonardis (nee Campolongo), loving father of Louis (Lindsey) Leonardis, Michael Leonardis (Tiffany), devoted grandfather of Ava, Olivia, Gabe and Lilliana. Also survived by many nieces and nephews who loved him dearly. Predeceased by his siblings; Cesare Leonardis and Martha Menfi. Born in Philadelphia, Louis has been a resident of Gibbstown for over 48 years. He is a United States Airforce Veteran.
Louis retired from Sunoco after 22 years of service, a member of the St. Clare of Assisi Parish (St. Michael's Church) and the St. Vincent dePaul ministry, a past member of the Lions Club and the Knights of Columbus. In his earlier years he was a soccer coach in Gibbstown. He was very proud of his military service in the Airforce from 1962-1966. Louis was a very dedicated musician and loved playing his piano. He loved to cook, but, his greatest love was for God, his family and Country.
Family and friends are invited to his viewing on Wednesday, July 29, 2026, at the St. Clare of Assisi Parish (St. Michael's Church), 313 Memorial Avenue, Gibbstown NJ, from 9:30am-11am, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 11am. Interment Gloucester County Veterans Cemetery, 240 N. Tuckahoe Rd., Williamstown NJ.
