Julia Davis (nee Velahos), 86, a life long resident of Gibbstown, passed away June 19, 2013. She is the wife of the late George W. Davis, Sr., beloved mother of George (Tina) Davis Jr., Mary Davis (late Syd Friedman) (fiance Joe Serpente), loving grandmother of Kyle (Kym) and Lindsay Davis, sister of Caroline McDevitt (late "Duffy"), Mary Leach (late Jim), Marguerite (Anthony) Pollicino, Anthony (Katina) Velahos, late John (Greeky) Velahos (Grace), late Pasquale (Blackie) Velahos (Marge), also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Julia was the oldest of 7 children, loved being with her family, and, especially her grandchildren. Was a member of the St. Clare of Assisi Parish (St. Michael's Church).

A viewing will be on Sunday 7-9pm and Monday 10am-10:45am, at the St. Clare of Assisi Parish (St. Michael's Church), Memorial Ave., Gibbstown NJ., followed by a Mass of Christian burial 11am.
