Joseph L. Ruggieri, 29, of Gibbstown, passed away suddenly August 5, 2016. He is the beloved son of Daniel P. Ruggieri, Sr., and Cynthia Ruggieri (nee Mauger). He is the loving brother of Daniel Jr., Roxanne and Christopher, devoted grandson of his paternal grandmother Patricia A. Ruggieri ("Momma Bear"), nephew of Frank, Lisa, Christoper and Kelly Ruggieri and uncle of Savannah and Daniel III. Predeceased by his maternal grandparents Joseph and Emma Mauger.

Joey was a sweetheart with an infectious smile and a heart of gold. He loved his family, friends, and enjoyed helping people whenever he could. He was a shining star who touched so many lives with his love for life, laughter, and his big heart.

A viewing will be on Thursday 5-8pm and Friday 9:30-10:15am, at the St. Clare of Assisi Parish (St. Michael's Church), 313 Memorial Ave., Gibbstown. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated 10:30am on Friday. Burial Eglington Cemetery, Clarksboro.
