Joseph R. Pavone, 63, a life long resident of Paulsboro, passed away June 26, 2009. He is the beloved husband of Betty J. (nee Legates), he is the love of her life, her soulmate and best friend, loving father of Christian (Stacy) and Myya Pavone, Danielle and Joseph Kalnas, devoted son of Mary Pavone (nee Sippacata), brother of Anthony (Antonia) Pavone, grandfather of Sebastian and Madisyn, his nieces Andrea and Samantha and nephew Vincent. Also survived by his best friends Dominic Fiorile and John Minnitti. Predeceased by his father Alfred R. Pavone.

Joe was a graduate of PHS, worked as a custodian for the Gloucester County Justice Department, and, along with his wife, catered many affairs and functions within the community. Joe loved being with his family, being at the shore, holidays, listening to the oldies and was especially proud of his Italian heritage. He was loved and admired by all that knew him and will be greatly missed.

A viewing will be on Thursday 8-10AM at the Landolfi Funeral Home of Paulsboro, 300 W. Broad St., followed by a mass of Chrisian burial, 10:30am, at the St. John's Church, Beacon Ave., Paulsboro.
