Joseph C. Hollis Sr., 80, of Poughquag NY, formerly of Paulsboro, passed away December 16, 2010 in Vassar Brothers Medical Center, Poughkeepsie NY, after a brief illness. He is the beloved father of Joseph Jr.(Maria), Saugerties NY, Michael (Patte), New Windsor NY, John (Lori), Fla, grandfather of Joseph III (Dawn), Kristine Hollis Goemen (Steve), Julia Madona (Arizona), Michael Jr., William, Gwenn, John Jr., Christopher, and great grandfather of Austin Carter Hollis.

Joe was born and raised in Paulsboro, a 1948 graduate of PHS and a US Veteran of the US Navy. He was an inventor and retired from IBM, a member of the IBM Quarter Century Club and was an avid golfer.
