age 99, of Vineland died on January 3,2024.  He was born in Philadelphia and grew up in Westmont, NJ. He was a longtime resident of Gibbstown before moving to Ocean City and then to the Veterans Home in Vineland NJ. Joe was active in St. Michael's Parish and St. Augustine's Parish.  He enjoyed times spent with family and friends.  He was a member of the Knights of Columbus, reaching the distinguished honor of serving as a past Grand Knight for the Father Thomas F. Blake Council 2560.  He was also a member of VFW 8695. He served in the US Army Air Corps from 1943-1945 as a TSGT 735th Bomb Squadron taking part in 30 mission on a B24.

He was the loving father to Joseph (Julie), John (Mary Beth), Thomas (Sandra), and Jean (James) Niblock.  He was the proud grandfather to Bradley Dean (Alexandra), Jillian Stinson (Ryerson), John Dean (Maura), Jennifer Dean, Christine Niblock, Michael Niblock (Brianna), Shannon Sellers (Stefani), and Melissa Myers (Chris) and great-grandfather to Briella, Vada and Jack. He is also survived by his sister Maryellen McCleery. Relatives and friends are invited to his viewing on Monday, January 8, 2023, 10-11am, at St. Clare of Assisi Parish, St. Michael's Church, 313 Memorial Ave, Gibbstown, NJ where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11am.  Interment New St. Mary's Cemetery, Bellmawr, NJ.  In lieu of flowers the family requests donations in Joseph's memory to NJVMH Welfare Fund, Attention Life Enrichment, 524 N.W.
