John P. Ranieri, Jr., 80, a life long resident of Paulsboro, passed away December 21, 2011. He is the beloved husband of Kitty (nee Homenick), devoted father of Carla (Tim) Dougherty, John III (Barbara), Nora (Doug), Dan (Jennifer) Ranieri, loving grandfather of Arwen (Joe), Ricky, Linda, Tori, Ryan, Shane, Connor, his great grandaughter Sammie, brother of Jean Porch, Leonore Cavallo. Also survived by his sister-in-law Helen Shepp, brother-in-law Chuck Homenick and many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his daughters Sandy Ranieri and Mary Hurst.

John enjoyed visiting all around town, working on his garden and his fig trees. He always brought tomatoes, hot peppers and figs to all his friends. He also enjoyed going to the casino and especially loved the seafood buffet. John loved his family dearly and will be greatly missed by his family and friends.

A viewing will be on Tuesday 6-8:30pm and Wednesday 8:30-9:15am at the LANDOLFI FUNERAL HOME of Paulsboro, 300 W. Broad St. A funeral Mass will be celebrated 10am at the St. John's Church, Beacon Ave., Paulsboro. Entombment Eglington Cemetery.
