Obituary

John P. Landolfi, Sr., 90, of Sewell, passed away November 28, 2019, at home, with his family by his side. He is the beloved husband of the late Gail Landolfi (nee Ferrick). He is the devoted father of Linda L. Ott (Doug), Terri M. Gerard (Michael), Jeanette Wallace (Steve)  John P. Landolfi, Jr (Kim) and the late Robin M. Landolfi.  John is the loving Pop Pop of Ashleigh, Michael, Nicholas, Danny O., Danny G., Steven, Brett, Kyle, Shane, Karli, Nicolette, Gia Gail and great grandfather of Chase and Alice.  He is also survived by his loving sisters: Mary Pinto (Ray), Maggie Pirri (Pete), Theresa Colna (Late Carl) and Nina Fritz (Norman). Predeceased by his siblings Concetta, Jenny (Mike), Dede (late Floss) and Sonny (Gladys).

John was a hard working man his entire life, he was either driving a truck, working in the garage, or spending time with his family.  He worked for Sun Shipbuilding and Drydock Co., Modern Hard Chrome Co., and farmed for many years before becoming the  owner/operator of  LANDOLFI TRUCKING for over 50 years. Many will fondly remember him as a professional scrapper of precious metals. He enjoyed many things, especially the annual Landolfi family reunions at the farm, hosting family get togethers and playing cards. He was a United States Navy Veteran.

A viewing will be on Wednesday 5-8pm at the LANDOLFI FUNERAL HOME of Paulsboro, 300 W. Broad Street and also on Thursday at the CHURCH OF THE INCARNATION, 9:45-10:45am, 240 Main St., Mantua NJ. A Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 11am. Interment Hillcrest Cemetery. If desired, in lieu of flowers, please make donations to St. Jude Childrens Research Hospital by visiting www.stjude.org.
