John DiStefano, 88, life-long resident of Gibbstown/Paulsboro, passed away May 8, 2013. He is the beloved husband of Linda (nee Ferrell), devoted father of Sandy, John (Linda), Jeff (Stacey), Alexander (Jane), brother of Harry (Martha), loving grandfather of John, Joe, Jennie, Kyle, Ben, James, Alisha, Kaylee, great grandchildren Kendal, Kimberly, Ryleigh and Frankie. Also survived by his special extended family, Joyce.

After many years of service, John retired from Greenwich Twp Public Works Department as superintendent, was a US WWII Army Veteran, and, was a member of the Anthony T. Calista Gibbstown VFW.

A viewing will be on Wednesday, 9:30-10:45am, at the St. Clare of Assisi Parish (St. Michael's Church), Memorial Ave., Gibbstown, followed by a Mass of Christian burial 11am.
