Obituary

Jennie Terrizzi, 60, of Woodbury, NJ, passed away peacefully on June 26, 2025, at Cooper Hospital, surrounded by her loving family, after a courageous battle with metastatic pancreatic cancer.

Born in Woodbury on November 19, 1964, Jennie was a lifelong South Jersey native. She graduated from Paulsboro High School in 1983, where she was a proud Red Raider cheerleader known for her energy and spirit.

Jennie spent many years working at the Harrison House Diner in Mullica Hill, where she was a beloved and dedicated waitress. She had a way of making people feel at home and never met a stranger she couldn't make smile.

She loved spending time in Atlantic City with family and friends and had a deep appreciation for sunny days at the beach. At home, Jennie found joy in gardening, crafting, fishing, and especially cooking and baking. Her kitchen, affectionately known as "Jennie Tz Kitchen," was the heart of every holiday and family gathering.

A devoted dog lover, Jennie adored her Chihuahua, Rossie, and cared for him like family. She was a free spirit—full of fire, laughter, and resilience. Her smile could light up a room, and her loyalty to those she loved was unwavering. Jennie approached life with grit and grace, often saying, "Because that's what I do," when facing any challenge, and "It is what it is," when embracing life's unpredictability.

Above all, Jennie loved her family fiercely. Her daughter and granddaughters were her world, and she would do anything for them.

Jennie is survived by her loving daughter, Donna Prauze; her cherished granddaughters, Jenna and Cameryn Fornito; her sisters, Donna Hart and Diane Murray; her brother-in-law, Mike Murray; and her nephews, Brian and Michael. She was preceded in death by her parents, Rosario and Anna Terrizzi; her brother, Anthony Terrizzi; and her nephew, Charles Mahon.

Jennie's light will continue to shine in the lives of those who loved her. She will be deeply missed and forever remembered.

A celebration of her life will be held on Sunday, July 13, 2025 at the St. Michael's Mutual Club, 406 Memorial Avenue, Gibbstown NJ 08027, from 3pm-7pm. Flowers and food donations are warmly welcomed as a tribute to Jennie's generous spirit and love of gathering with family and friends. Arrangements by LANDOLFI  FUNERAL HOME, 300 W.
