The family of Jason Michael Marucci of Gibbstown, New Jersey is saddened to announce his passing on Friday, November, 21, 2025 at the age of 43.  Jason was born on July 26, 1982 and grew up in a loving family that shaped his humor, loyalty, and gentle spirit that he carried throughout his life.  He attended Paulsboro High School and subsequently earned a bachelor's degree at Stockton University and was a brother in Tai Delta Phi.  Jason is survived by and will be deeply missed by his parents Frank and Janice Marucci (nee Laterza), his children Elizabeth Anne and Jaxon Michael Marucci and their mother, Stephanie Marucci; his siblings Kristin (William) O'Connell, Diana (Karsten) Holbein, Catherine Marucci (William Sadtler), Justin Morrison, Christopher Minyon; his partner Erin Kerr as well as an extended family and circle of friends who loved him. He will be joining his uncles, Barry and Steve Marucci who preceded him in death to continue to joke and jest as they had in life.

Jason will be remembered for his sharp wit, big heart, and kindness.  He found peace on the water, especially when fishing with his longtime friends Jesse and Burt Thorn.  Nothing brought Jason more joy than coaching and watching his children participate in sports and activities.

Services will be held at St. Clare of Assisi (St. Michael) Church at 313 Memorial Ave, Gibbstown, NJ 08057 on Friday, November 28, 2025 with visitation from 9 am to 11am; followed by 11am Mass of Christian burial, & interment to follow at St. Joseph Cemetery in Swedesboro, NJ.
