Irma C. Kandle (nee Kamman), age 99, of Paulsboro, passed away on July 24, 2020. She was born to William and Pauline Kamman and was a life-long resident of Paulsboro. Irma was predeceased by her husband Carleton H. Kandle, brothers William, Harry, John, sister Mae, and her grandson Walter Jr.  Irma is survived by her daughter, Irma Stevenson (Walter), Grandchildren Brenda, Gary (Rae Lynn), Bonnie (John), and Judy (Fred). She is also survived by 9 Great-Grandchildren and 9 Great-Great Grandchildren, a sister, Phyllis Antonelli (Anthony), as well as many Nieces and Nephews.

Irma was a PROUD 1938 graduate of Paulsboro High School, where she served as Manager for the 1937 & 38 Field Hockey teams. She also was a member of the Paulsboro Fire Co. Ladies Auxiliary, Marching Mom of the Fireflies Drum & Bugle Corp, served as the first President of the Buck St. School PTA, was a Committee Woman of the FDR Democrat Club, and a member of the St. Paul's United Methodist Church.

Irma enjoyed her family gatherings very much and talking family history, especially about her "beloved Nana Lodge and the Lodge's". She enjoyed Crocheting and sending cards to everyone. She also enjoyed walking everywhere in Paulsboro and talking to the residents. Irma was "Nan" to everyone who knew her and will surely be missed!

Relatives and friends are invited to her viewing on Saturday from 9:30 to 11:00am at the St. Paul's Methodist Church, Broad & Delaware streets, Paulsboro. A religious service will follow at 11am.
