Irene M. Marshall (nee Knapp), 67, of Mantua, passed away peacefully, April 19, 2014, surrounded by her family. She was born in Paulsboro to Matthew and Anna Knapp. Survived by her beloved husband Eugene Marshall of 51 years, devoted mother of Eugene of Blackwood, Oscar (Denise) of West Deptford, Robert (Patricia) of Gibbstown, Daniel of West Deptford, Christopher and Alexander (Lori), both of Mantua, Matthew (Sherri) of Pennsville, grandmother of 16, great grandmother of 3, loving sister of Matthew (Karen) Knapp of Alloway, Donald (Maureen) Knapp of West Deptford, Herbie (Tracy) Knapp of Chichester Pa and predeceased by Elsie May. Also survived by many cousins, nieces and nephews.
Irene owned and operated Marshalls Towing Service. She was a loving and caring person, her family was her life, had a deep love for her cats, was an active member of the First Baptist Church of Mantua, enjoyed Chinese auctions, horror movies, reading, gardening, ceramics and spending vacations with her family at the shore and on cruises.
