Howard S. Mitana, 82, long time resident of Gibbstown, passed away February 13, 2011. He is the beloved husband of Betty (nee Dilkes), devoted father of Beth (Michael) Savidge, Jeffrey (Lisa) Dunn, Nancy (Russell) Newcomb, Stephen and Barbara Mitana, loving brother of Edward Mitana, Elaine (Joseph) Duca, grandfather of 11 and great grandfather of 2.

Howard was a US WWII Navy Veteran, graduate of Paulsboro High School and Southern Methodist University, member of the Anthony T. Calista VFW of Gibbstown, and, retired after 38 years with Pennsylvania Manufacturers Association.

A viewing will be on Thursday 10-11am at the LANDOLFI FUNERAL HOME of Paulsboro, 300 W. Broad St., followed by services at 11am. Interment Eglington Cemetery.
