Horace Battersby, 85, of Gibbstown, passed away February 4, 2014. He is the beloved husband of Maria G. (nee Chiavoroli), devoted father of Frank (Cindy) Battersby, Regina (Frank) Minniti, loving grandfather of Casey, Andrew, Kerry Battersby, Frankie and Ashley Minniti, great grandfather of Leni Maria Battersby, also survived by his Aunt Peggy Tiddy and many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his parents Horace and Florence Battersby, siblings June Ege, Kate Carmony, Helen Hughes, Shirley Curran and Earl Battersby.

Horace was a US Army Veteran serving in the Korean War, drove for Shute's Motor Transportation for 40 years, retiring in 1986.

A viewing will be on Saturday 9-10:45am at the LANDOLFI FUNERAL HOME of Paulsboro, 300 W. Broad St., followed by services at 11am. Interment Eglington Cemetery.
