Helen Milsted (nee Sabo), 91, a life long resident of Paulsboro, passed away March 29, 2009. She is the beloved mother of James Milsted and Linda Schumacher, step-mother of Elaine (Lanny) Pagnotto, devoted grandmother of 8 and great grandmother of 2.

Helen is an Army/Air Force Veteran and was the first woman in Gloucester County to ever serve for the Women's Air Service Pilots-Army Air corps. After 25 years of service she retired from the Paulsboro Post Office and was a member of the Paulsboro High School class of 1936. She loved to fly at Bridgeport Airport, going to the air shows in Millville and Reading, Pa., and also enjoyed her casino bus trips.

A viewing will be on Monday 9-10:30am at the Landolfi Funeral Home of Paulsboro, 300 W. Broad St., followed by services at 10:30am. Entombment Eglington Cemetery.
