On June 12, 2017 of Gibbstown, NJ, age 82 yrs. Beloved husband of Y. Anita (nee Giordano). Devoted father of Harry, Jr. (Janice), Lori Lindle (Scott), Andrew (Maryann), and Yvonne Lombardo-Brown (Milton). Loving grandfather of Scott, Angela, Marlise, Randall, Rebecca, Gina, Jacob, and Stephanie. Dear brother of Peter (Ilene), Frances Lombardo and Mary Bell. Predeceased by his brother Anthony Lombardo. Also survived by his brother-in-law's Anthony Giordano (Jane) and Joseph Giordano (Eleanor) as well as several nieces and nephews. Mr. Lombardo was as life-long resident of Gibbstown. He graduated from Paulsboro H.S. Class of 1953. After graduating from high school, Harry enlisted in the U.S. Marine Corps and bravely served in Korea. Harry then enjoyed a 28 yr career with the Gibbstown Police Dept. retiring as Dept. Chief. In his leisure time, Harry enjoyed the outdoors, hunting, fishing, gardening, and woodworking. Relatives and friends are invited to his viewing on Thursday evening from 6-8 PM and again on Friday morning from 9:30am at St. Clare of Assisi Parish, St. Michael's Church, 313 Memorial Ave, Gibbstown, NJ, where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:30am.
