Gus G. Chadwick, 84, life-long resident of Paulsboro, passed away peacefully, November 30, 2011, with his family by his side. He is the beloved father of Rosalind (William) Garrigle, loving step-father of Christina (Joseph) Cardillo, Millissa (William) Eggert, brother of Adella Raso, cherished grandfather of 11, great grandfather of 5. Also survived by numerous treasured nieces, nephews, friends and family. Predeceased by his wife Mildred (nee Myers) Chadwick and Lillian (nee Morlachetta) Chadwick, his daughters Joan (Chadwick) Krajewski and Debra (Sciamanetti) Horner.
Gus was a WWII Army Veteran, a 1945 graduate of Paulsboro High School where he played football, was in the school band, and, a member of the Sons of Italy Carmel S. Morina Lodge. He loved his cigars, martinis, playing poker and music.
Relatives and friends are invited to a viewing on Monday 9-10am at the LANDOLFI FUNERAL HOME of Paulsboro, 300 W. Broad St. Services will begin at 10am. Interment Eglington Cemetery.
