GLADYS MAE GRIGGS (WILLIAMS) entered into eternal rest peacefully September 14, 2025. Beloved wife of the late George J. Griggs, Sr., daughter of the late Raymond and Marie Williams, sister of the late Marie Anderson, Ruth and Samuel Capasso, Ray and Peggy Williams, James and Franny Williams and Robert Williams. Mother of two children, Denise M. Wallace (Richard Sr.) and George J. Jr. (Patricia). Grandmother of Kelly (and the late Stephen), Dewey (and Lisa), Chalie, Martha (and Anthony) and Richard, Jr. Great Grandmother of Kevin, Stephen, Jr. and Amanda. Great Great Grandmother of Brooklyn and Lilly as well as many nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews.

She worked at Monongahela Middle School and was known as "the ice cream lady" during lunch. She's a longstanding member of the Clonmell United Methodist Church in Gibbstown NJ. She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. She supported several charities and was a fan of the Eagles and Phillies.

Relatives and friends are invited to share in Gladys' Life Celebration on Friday, September 19th from 9:30-11:00am at LANDOLFI FUNERAL HOME, 300 West Broad Street, Paulsboro, NJ. A service will immediately follow at 11am. Interment Eglington Cemetery, 320 Kings Highway, Clarksboro NJ.
