Filomena M. Mennite (nee Zampino), 88, of Paulsboro, passed away, at home, January 30, 2012. She is the wife of the late Joseph Mennite, also predeceased by her son John A. Mennite and her sister Catherine Diliberto. Beloved mother of Mary Anne Mennite, Linda (Bob) Giuliano, and sister of Joseph (Lena) Zampino.

Filomena graduated Cum Laude from the Rutgers School of Law in 1946, was a member of the Gloucester County Bar Association, worked for several area law firms, and finished her career in the law firm of Mennite & Mennite in partnership with her husband Joseph. She was a Past President of the Paulsboro Women's Club, was chairperson for the local UNICEF organization for three years, and served as a chairperson for various committees within St. John's Church.

A viewing will be on Saturday 9-10:30am at the LANDOLFI FUNERAL HOME of Paulsboro, 300 W. Broad St., followed by an 11am Mass of Christian burial at the St. John's Church, St. Clare of Assisi Parish, Beacon Ave., Paulsboro. Interment Eglington Cemetery.
