Obituary

Ezio Fiorile, Paulsboro. Born 12/21/23 in Paulsboro. Son of Domenico Fiorile and Chiarina Scaramazza from Abruzzo Italy.  Had one brother George and one sister Norma nee Lombardo. Graduated from PHS in 1942.  Served in the Army/Air Force during WWII in the Western Pacific. Played the trumpet for "The Blue Jays" on weekends.  Owned and operated Fiorile's Bakery from 1948 to 1985, making delicious Italian bread and rolls. Elected to Paulsboro Council in 1965.  Attended Rutgers and worked in the Gloucester County Tax office retiring in 1992. A member of St. John's Church, the Kiwanis Club, George D. Patton Post 678, St. Michael's Mutual Club and The Sons of Italy Lodge.

Married Florence Mae Spicer in 1946 and was married for 49 years until her passing in 1995. They built a loving family of four children, James (Joan), Wayne, Michael (Karen), and Lisa. Four grandchildren and five great grandchildren, beloved nieces, nephews and cousins in America and Italy. Later in life met his significant other, Judith Bates and enjoyed 23 years of companionship and travel, and lived his last 3 years with her in West Deptford.

Due to the current Covid crisis, there will not be a public service.  A more fitting celebration of life for all his extended family and friends will be held at a later date.  In lieu of flowers, please send a donation for the " 2021 Children's Christmas Party" to the Sons of Italy, Carmel S.
