Eugene J. Murphy, 86, of Cherry Hill NJ, passed away peacefully on November 16, 2009. He is survived by his loving wife, Rita (nee Carozza), 3 stepdaughters, Rita (Nick) Cucinotta, Rhonda (Ed) Alt and Rochelle Merino. He leaves behind his best buddies, his 9 grandchildren, Jessica Merino, Domenick Cucinotta, Michael Cucinotta, Christina Sims, Gabrielle Cucinotta, Alyssa Alt, Stephen Alt, Samantha Sims and Victoria Sims. They will always remember him for the lessons he taught them about staying in the lines and will never forget the eye ball ring.

Gene, as we called him, was an avid fisherman and loved boating. He won many tournaments over the years. He was a passionate bird watcher and enjoyed making bird houses. He also enjoyed traveling the United States and seeing many sights in his RV with Rita.
