Elvira Cancila (nee DeMayo), 93, of Gibbstown, passed away September 2, 2012. She is the wife of the late Orazio "Daz" Cancila, devoted mother of Vincent (Elaine), Henry (late Eileen) Cancila, grandmother of Gregory, Dawn, Desiree, Jason, late Vincent Jr., great grandmother of Alexis, Sarah, Alyssa, Madison, Makenzie, Logan, sister of Alex and Alfred DeMayo, Marietta Favuzzi and the late Nicholas, Dora, Ida, Gilda and Gloria.

Elvira was a member of the Gibbstown Seniors and Catholic Daughters of America. She enjoyed cooking, baking, travelling, bus trips and most of all being with her family.

A viewing will be on Thursday 9-10:30am at the St. Clare of Assisi Parish (St. Michael's Church), Memorial Ave., Gibbstown, followed by a Mass of Christian burial 10:30am.
