Elsie A. Carrozzino (nee Giordano), 73, long time resident of Gibbstown, passed away peacefully, February 27, 2011, at home, with her family by her side. She is the beloved wife of 52 years to Ronald J. Carrozzino Sr., devoted mother of Ronald J. Jr. (Deborah), David D. (Nicole), loving grandmother of Jennifer, Ronald III (Kristyn), great grandmother of Matthew, sister of Helen Ciambruschini and Mary Jonassen. Also survived by many nieces, nephews and close friends.
After raising her children, Elsie began a career in banking with the former National Bank of Gloucester County, retiring as head teller. She then worked for her son David D. Carrozzino, DPM, as a medical assistant. She was very devoted to her family, her Parish and her country. She enjoyed world travel, going to the Pocono Mts., gardening and being a member of the St. John Neumann Guild.
A viewing will be on Tuesday 7-9pm and Wednesday 9-10am at the LANDOLFI FUNERAL HOME of Paulsboro, 300 W. Broad St. A Mass of Christian buial will be celebrated at 10:30am at the St. Clare of Assisi Parish, St. Michael's Church, Memorial Ave., Gibbstown. Entombment Eglington Cemetery.
