Elizabeth D. Pruss (nee Pszwaro), 91, of Gibbstown, passed away June 7, 2011. She is the beloved mother of Janet (Ray) Shivers, Marie (Gary) Slagle, loving grandmother of Jennifer (Ken) Ford, Raymond (Kate) and Stephen Shivers, great grandmother of Connor and Nathan Ford and Violet Shivers. Predeceased by her husband Felix Pruss.

Elizabeth was a graduate of Paulsboro HS, was a member of the Gibbstown Seniors, Ladies Auxiliary of the Anthony T. Calista VFW, Catholic Daughters, and a former member of the St. Michael's Altar and Rosary Society. For several years she worked as a Navy nurse.

A viewing will be on Saturday 8:30-10:15am at the St. Clare of Assisi Parish, St. Michael's Church, Memorial Ave., Gibbstown, followed by a Mass of Christian burial at 10:30am. Interment St. Joseph's Cemetery, Chews Landing. If anyone wishes donations may be made to the Gift of Life, 401 N. 3rd St., Phila Pa 19123.
