Elena "Penny" Onorati, 88, a life long resident of Gibbstown, passed away March 30, 2011. She is the wife of 55years of the late Ralph Onorati, beloved mother of Terry (Roxanne) Morina, Cathy (Daniel) Dameron, Ralph (Doris) Onorati, Mariann (Jack) Baldwin, loving and devoted grandmother of 10 and great grandmother of 13.

"Penny" worked at Pat Richards Inc. most of her life, retired at the age of 65, with a surprise party with her family and friends. She continued working at home, as a seamstress, until her sight failed her just 2 years ago. She was very social, was a member of the Gibbstown Volunteer Ladies Auxiliary, the Gibbstown and Paulsboro Senior Citizens, and, some of her favorite activities were going on various bus and casino trips.

A viewing will be on Sunday 6-8pm and Monday 8:15-9:15am at the LANDOLFI FUNERAL HOME of Paulsboro, 300 W. Broad St. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 10am at the St. Clare of Assisi Parish, St. Michael's Church, Memorial Ave., Gibbstown. Interment will be private.
