Of Gibbstown, NJ, passed away peacefully on February 28, 2023, surrounded by his loving family, age 93 yrs. Beloved husband of the late Mary (nee Angelini). Predeceased by his siblings; Andrew, Alfred, and Anna Mae. Devoted father of Bryan Hresko (Charlene) and Ann Villanueva (Zan). Loving Pop-pop of Meghann, Blake (Annette), Lauren (Andres), Kaitlyn (Les), and Shannon. Great-grandfather of Kailyn, Mason, Liana, Aviana, Elia, Taj, Theo, and Bryan. Ed was born in Paulsboro and resided in Gibbstown for many years. He was a proud 1948 graduate of Paulsboro High School, where he excelled in wrestling and football. Ed enjoyed a long career spanning 35 years with Mobil Refinery, and was proud to retire in 1985. Ed was always the life of the party, he enjoyed socializing with family and friends, especially family crab outings. He enjoyed Ocean City, NJ where he spent time sun bathing on the beach and swimming in the ocean; followed by a slice of pizza at Mack and Manco's. He loved his Gloucester Catholic baseball family and watching his grandson Blake play. Ed remained close to the Paulsboro/Gibbstown community and continued to follow Paulsboro High School sports. Additionally, Ed was a member of the Paulsboro Sons of Italy. Relatives and friends are invited to attend his viewing on Monday morning from 9am to 11am at the LANDOLFI FUNERAL HOME, 300 W. Broad Street, Paulsboro, NJ, where a Funeral Service will follow at 11am. Interment St. Joseph's Cemetery, Swedesboro, NJ.
