David Pieta, 45, of Gibbstown, passed away January 19, 2010. He is the beloved son of Barbara Pieta, survived by his father Richard Bradford, grandparents William Pieta, Arlene Bradford, aunts Andrea and Kathryn Pieta, uncles John (Debbie) and Michael Pieta, cousins Jennifer, John Paul, Jillian, sister Michelle Bradford and special friend Christina. Predeceased by grandmother Kathryn (Patton) Pieta.
David could be described as a modern day frontiersman. He was an avid hunter and outdoorsman. He was a member of the Raccoon Creek Boat Club. He worked most of his life in the building trade with his family and was an artistic, self-taught Taxidermist. He was a talented cook and an accomplished roller skater, was often spotted bicycling around town. His real passion was the time he spent exploring the local meadows. His love of nature is how we will remember David forever.
A viewing will be on Saturday 10:30am-12:30pm at the Landolfi Funeral Home of Paulsboro, 300 W. Broad St., followed by services at 12:30pm. Interment will be private. Donations may be sent to the National Wildlife Federation www.NWF.org. To share condolences www.landolfifuneralhome.com
